Okazuya and Deli makes the best mahimahi with
lemon capers in a plate lunch! You have a choice of rice or garlic mashed potatoes and macaroni salad or steamed vegetables. There is also a new addition to the menuono with lemon capers, which I havent tried yet, but, I hear from some folks, is the bomb! [ >> This Honkowai Okazuya and Deli is a five minute walk from the Hale Kai. The food there is indeed very good ! ] |
The Kaanapali
Beach Hotel Mixed Plate Cafe has a weekly Friday
buffet to satisfy the Hawaiian food lover in all of us.
The menu consists of a fresh salad bar, laulau, chicken
long rice, lomilomi salmon, kalua pig, baked fish, poi,
as well as haupia cake, guava cake, pumpkin pie, custard
pie, a soft-serve ice cream machine and extras. Saturdays are dedicated to the fabulous prime rib. There is also a salad bar, and the desserts are wonderful! The cafe opens at 5 at night, and the prices are pretty reasonable. |
Mala
Ocean Tavern is a fairly new restaurant on the
ocean on Front Street in Lahaina, across from the Lahaina
Cannery Mall. There is an item called the Rolls Royce
Kobe Beef Cheeseburger that is absolutely awesome and
huge! My ramp agent goes there especially for the Whole Wok Fried Opakapaka, which he says is fantastic. The Lemon Tahini Vinaigrette dressing on the My Big Fat Greek Salad is delicious and the Caramel Miranda is heaven! It is a little pricey, but people apparently dont mind, because the place is always busy. I think it would be a great place to take that special someone for a special occasion."... |
